You must add a rule to the default export policy to allow all clients access through NFSv3. Without such a rule, all NFS clients are denied access to the Storage Virtual Machine (SVM) and its volumes.<\/p>\n

Steps<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/div>\n

  1. In the navigation pane,<\/span> select the SVM<\/span> and click Policies<\/span> > Export Policies<\/span><\/span>. <\/span><\/li>\n
  2. Select the export policy named default<\/span>, which is applied to the SVM<\/span> root volume.<\/span><\/li>\n
  3. In the lower pane, click Add<\/span>.<\/span><\/li>\n
  4. In the Create Export Rule<\/span> dialog box, create a rule that opens access to all clients for NFS clients: <\/span>\n

    1. In the Client Specification<\/span> field, enter 0.0.0.0\/0<\/kbd> so that the rule applies to all clients.<\/span><\/li>\n
    2. Retain the default value as 1<\/span> for the rule index. <\/span><\/li>\n
    3. Select NFSv3<\/span>. <\/span><\/li>\n
    4. Clear all the check boxes except the UNIX<\/span> check box under Read-Only<\/span>. <\/span><\/li>\n
    5. Click OK<\/span>.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
